Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician for an 18-day locum tenens assignment in Florida starting Oct 6, 2025. This opportunity involves outpatient general practice, managing new and existing patients with conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, and offers a flexible weekday schedule with shifts between 9am and 6pm.Job Details

- Schedule: Either Monday and Thursday 10am-5pm or 10am-6pm, or Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 10am-5pm or 10am-6pm. Provider may open the office at 9am, though patients begin at 10am.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide outpatient general practice care to adult patients
- Conduct comprehensive and routine exams, including full and women's health (routine GYN) exams
- Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension
- Perform minor procedures including suturing, casting, incisions, drainages, and biopsies
- Conduct EKGs as needed (EKG equipment available onsite)
- Accept and evaluate new patients
Additional Information
- Must have Florida medical license
- Required board certifications: Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- DEA certification required
- Residency training in Internal Medicine required
- Must be comfortable with outpatient adult care and minor office procedures
