Job Description

We are actively seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Physician for a rewarding 72-day locum tenens assignment in Florida, commencing Mar 9, 2026. This role involves focused patient care, including comprehensive assessments, medication monitoring, lab and chart review, and diagnostic ordering, with consistent shifts from 9am to 2pm.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive patient assessments and chart reviews.
• Monitor patient progress and medication adherence.
• Utilize Practice Fusion and other systems for medication management and patient records.
• Collaborate with support staff on patient care and medication protocols.
• Interpret laboratory results and diagnostic imaging.
• Prescribe and manage patient medications.
• Manage a diverse caseload, including general medical and complex chronic conditions.
• Conduct wellness examinations.
• Administer pain medication management.
• Order appropriate diagnostic imaging, including X-rays and MRIs.
