Job Description

We are seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment with our client in New Mexico. This opportunity begins on Mar 2, 2026, with day shifts scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The physician will manage a diverse caseload, including acute and chronic conditions, women's health, and physicals.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Evaluate and treat patients presenting with cold, cough, and flu symptoms
  • Perform physical examinations and routine health screenings
  • Manage chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes
  • Provide women's health care, including pap smears, IUD placements, and UTI screenings
  • Document patient encounters and treatment plans
  • Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and standards


Additional Information

  • Active New Mexico medical license required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years recent clinical experience in primary care or internal medicine within the last 3 years
  • Previous VA experience is a plus
