Our client in New Mexico is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a 120-day assignment starting Jun 15, 2026. This role involves a commitment of 5-10 hours per week, focusing on making recommendations for a healthier environment at a homeless shelter, advising medical staff, coordinating patient care with other community providers, and delivering acute evaluation and emergency or bridging medications to patients, alongside on-call availability.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Make recommendations for a healthier environment at a homeless shelter.
- Advise medical staff (EMTs) at the shelter.
- Coordinate medical care with other providers in the community.
- Provide patient care, including acute evaluation and emergency or bridging medications.
- Be available to staff by phone from 8 am - 8 pm, five days a week for on-call duties.
