We are seeking a licensed Internal Medicine Physician for a 125-day locum tenens assignment in Vermont, starting Jan 26, 2026. This role involves day shifts from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and is primarily focused on providing care in subacute rehab, long-term care, and dementia units.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to elderly patients with various health conditions
  • Manage and oversee the treatment plans for patients in subacute rehab and long-term care settings
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic diseases prevalent in geriatric patients
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes
  • Utilize the PointClickCare EMR system for documentation and management of patient records


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certifications: Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Internal Medicine
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Must meet credentialing requirements, including a proficient reference from the most recent supervisory position
  • No gaps exceeding 6 months on CV without a valid explanation
