We are seeking a skilled Interventional Cardiologist for a locum tenens position in California through Barton Associates. This 100-day assignment begins on 07/07/2025, and requires expertise in emergency interventional cardiology procedures, including stents, catheterization, and angioplasty. The ideal candidate will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with 24-hour call on weekdays and some weekends (14 shifts/month). A 7-on/7-off rotating schedule is strongly preferred to match with the permanent provider. The physician will handle STEMI call coverage, manage 2-4 STEMIs from ER/clinic per day, and provide inpatient consults and outpatient clinic appointments. Proficiency with Cerner software is required. This opportunity offers the potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide emergency interventional cardiology procedures, including stents, catheterization, and angioplasty

• Perform a mix of inpatient coverage and call coverage

• Adhere to all relevant health and safety protocols
• Participate in multidisciplinary care conferences as required
Additional Information:
