Job Description

Experience a New England Fall! Our client in Connecticut is seeking a physician specializing in interventional pain management for coverage at their facility beginning in October. Expected shift hours will be Monday through Friday from 7am-4pm. The selected provider will be responsible for neuro stem implants, joint injections, lumbar spine, SI joint, interlaminar and translaminar steroid injections, radiofrequency ablations, cryo therapy, and nerve blocks. Kyphoplasty is not required but can be an option if the provider wants. The provider will also handle medication management including Hydrocodone & Oxycodone, as well as long acting opioids like Buprenorphine, Oxymorphone, and more. This position will be comprised of 75% interventional work and 25% medication management. The provider will also perform post-op rounds for C-Section and other post-op patients starting at 7am. Clinic starts at 8am with all interventional procedures taking place in the morning and follow ups and new patient consults in the afternoon. The provider can also opt to perform post-op rounds on Saturday mornings. This client requires the provider to be Board Certified in interventional pain medicine, and prefers a provider who is anesthesia based. Apply now with Barton to get paid to travel!
