 We are seeking a skilled Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Mississippi, starting 08/18/2025. This opportunity involves working at a hospital, providing both clinic and on-call coverage. The schedule includes 8-hour clinic shifts, potential weeknight call, and weekend 24-hour call coverage from Friday 2pm to Monday 6:45am. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a mix of screens, target exams, follow-ups, and fetal testing, including amniocentesis and inpatient fetal testing at some locations. Responsibilities include reviewing ultrasounds for anatomy scans, BPP, and growth scans. This role utilizes the Epic EMR system and offers the possibility of extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform comprehensive maternal-fetal medicine consultations and screenings

• Conduct and interpret ultrasounds for anatomy scans, BPP, and growth scans

• Carry out amniocentesis and inpatient fetal testing as required

• Provide expert care for high-risk pregnancies

• Manage a mix of screens, target exams, follow-ups, and fetal testing

• Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Epic EMR

• Participate in weeknight and weekend on-call rotations

• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures

• Stay updated on current maternal-fetal medicine practices and guidelines
