 We are seeking a skilled Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician for a part-time locum tenens position in Texas through Barton Associates. This 14-day assignment begins on 07/21/2025, with September dates to be announced soon. The ideal candidate will work Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, and Fridays from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, averaging two weeks per month. The physician will be responsible for office visits, sonograms, and possible amniocentesis procedures in a Hospital setting. This role involves working as a supporting physician in clinic/consult capacity, utilizing Athenahealth software for patient management. The assignment offers potential for extension beyond the initial period.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct office visits for high-risk pregnancy patients

• Perform and interpret sonograms

• Carry out amniocentesis procedures when necessary

• Provide consultations and support in clinic settings

• Utilize Athenahealth software for patient records and treatment planning

• Collaborate with the obstetrics team to ensure optimal patient care

• Educate patients on high-risk pregnancy management and fetal health

• Maintain clear communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members

• Adhere to all relevant health and safety protocols

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in maternal fetal medicine
