 We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) for a locum tenens position at a hospital in California. This 72-day assignment begins on 10/01/2025, and requires expertise in managing a NICU. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, handling high acuity cases, and performing various critical procedures. The schedule involves 12-hour shifts (AM or PM), with the opportunity to work 12-14 shifts per month. This role demands proficiency in attending multiple high acuity deliveries, performing UA/UV lines, intubations, chest tube placements, resuscitations, and managing patients in preparation for transport.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide expert care in a NICU setting

• Manage high acuity cases independently

• Attend and lead multiple high acuity deliveries

• Perform critical procedures including UA/UV lines, intubations, and chest tube placements

• Conduct resuscitations as needed

• Manage Level 4 patients in preparation for transport

• Collaborate with a team of physicians and nurse practitioners

• Utilize Epic electronic health record system
