Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Neonatology Nurse Practitioner for our client in New York, for a 20-day assignment commencing May 4, 2026. This role involves comprehensive daytime nursery coverage from 7 am to 4 pm, focusing on the care of newborns. Responsibilities will include attending c-sections when requested and performing critical resuscitation procedures such as intubations and vent management.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Cover the newborn nursery from 7 am to 4 pm, with no call obligations
- Manage newborn nursery patients; no outpatient or clinic duties
- Attend all c-sections as necessary
- Resuscitate newborns, including intubations, catheterizing the umbilicus, and vent management
- Do not attend deliveries unless specifically requested by the OB
