Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for a 42-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. This opportunity begins on Mar 1, 2026, and offers a flexible schedule with both day and night shifts, including weekends and 24-hour options. The assignment will involve providing advanced neonatal care in a high-acuity setting and requires a provider who can work at least 7 days per month. A six-month contract is available to start.

  • Schedule: Shifts include 7a-5p, 4p-8a on weekdays; 7a-7p, 7p-7a on weekends; 24-hour shifts also available. Minimum 7 days per month; flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide care for a medical NICU census of approximately 75-80 patients, with additional surgical cases
  • Perform intubations, umbilical arterial/venous line placements, PICC placements, and lumbar punctures
  • Manage ventilators and participate in advanced respiratory support
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive neonatal care
  • Ensure documentation and adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards

Additional Information
  • Must have at least L3 experience
  • Required board certification: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
  • Required certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Pennsylvania license required
  • Anticipate a credentialing process of approximately 3 months
