We are seeking an experienced Neonatology Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Tennessee. This 30-day opportunity begins on Dec 1, 2025, with a flexible schedule and the chance to work 40 hours per week or more in a high-acuity NICU open seven days a week. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage surgical cases and provide care in a NICU
  • Deliver advanced neonatal care alongside two NNP teams and a resident fellow team
  • Care for neonatal patients
  • Participate in team-based care
  • Handle critical care responsibilities, including neonatal resuscitation and pediatric advanced life support
  • Collaborate with other nurse practitioners, residents, and fellows to ensure quality patient outcomes
  • Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to clinical protocols


Additional Information

  • At least 3 years of NICU experience required
  • Must hold Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) board certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
  • Must be licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Tennessee or hold an eligible license
