Job Description

Our client in Tennessee is seeking a dedicated Neonatology Nurse Practitioner for a 32-day assignment beginning Jun 1, 2026. This role involves flexible shifts focused on total patient management for neonatal patients under physician direction, primarily within a surgery unit handling surgical cases and recoveries. You will be instrumental in supporting babies recovering from various surgeries and managing their average 21–28-day stay before transfer to their home hospital.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide total patient management for neonatal patients under physician direction.
  • Care for patients within a surgery unit, managing babies recovering from various surgeries, including growers and feeders.
  • Oversee an average patient stay of 21-28 days before transfer to a home hospital.
  • Manage surgical cases.
  • Contribute to patient care for approximately 59 babies across 75 beds, working within a structured team environment including two NNP teams and one resident fellow team.
