We are seeking a certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Virginia, beginning Feb 2, 2026. This opportunity offers 24-hour in-house shifts with nights and weekend availability only. The role involves providing advanced neonatal care within a collaborative hospital environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Deliver advanced neonatal care, including high-frequency ventilation and administration of nitric oxide
  • Collaborate with pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists, including maternal-fetal medicine and pediatric surgery
  • Participate as a member of the Virginia Neonatal Perinatal Collaborative
  • Engage in MOC eligible quality improvement initiatives and research projects
  • Provide comprehensive clinical management for critically ill neonates

Additional Information
  • VA license REQUIRED
  • Must be a certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with recent clinical experience
  • Minimum of a Masters Degree in Nursing REQUIRED
  • At least 6 months of clinical experience in neonatology REQUIRED
  • Cannot accept providers who have not been clinically active for 1 year
  • Required Board Certification: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
