We are seeking a Neonatologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Dec 1, 2025. This critical role involves 24/7 coverage with 24-hour shifts, demanding a quick response to neonatal intensive care needs, particularly in a NICU setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a NICU

  • Participate in the management of a low volume NICU with an average daily census of 0.7
  • Handle procedures as required
  • Deliver care for high-risk deliveries, comprising 10-12% of annual deliveries


Additional Information

  • Board certification in Neonatology or Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) required
  • Must be licensed to practice in California
  • Prior experience with Epic EMR systems preferred
  • Multiple positions available, with a firm start in December
