Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Neonatologist for a 72-day locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity begins on Nov 1, 2025, and involves approximately seven shifts per month, with in-house day shifts and out-of-house call at night. The ideal candidate will have NICU experience and be comfortable working with Epic EMR.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive care to neonates in a NICU setting
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions in newborns
  • Oversee both day and night coverage as scheduled
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and care coordination


Additional Information

  • Active California medical license required
  • Board certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • NICU experience is essential
