Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Neonatologist for a locum tenens assignment in California. This role begins on Apr 1, 2026, and spans a 1-day assignment, offering both day and night 12-hour shifts in 5-day blocks. Candidates must have L3 NICU experience and be board certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide specialized care for neonates in a NICU setting

  • Perform necessary procedures and oversee stabilization of infants
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR
  • Adhere to evidence-based protocols and hospital policies


Additional Information

  • California medical license required
  • Board certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Prior NICU experience required
  • Experience using Epic EMR preferred
