Our client in Virginia is seeking a dedicated Neonatologist to join their team for a 30-day assignment starting Jun 26, 2026. This role involves comprehensive NICU and nursery coverage, including attending deliveries, during 16-hour night shifts. You will provide essential care for an average daily census of 8-10 in the nursery and 2-4 in the NICU, with neonatologist backup available from home.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive NICU and nursery coverage.
• Manage an average daily census of 8–10 patients in the nursery and 2–4 patients in the NICU.
• Work 16-hour night shifts with neonatologist backup from home.
• Attend deliveries as required.
• Complete credentialing for both the main hospital system and the specific site, with an estimated timeline of three months.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Neonatology is required.
