We are seeking an experienced Neurology Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Arkansas, providing nighttime coverage in a 28-bed Neuro ICU. This is a 2-day assignment starting Oct 4, 2025, with 12-hour night shifts from 7p to 7a. Providers must have critical care experience and be comfortable managing high-acuity neurocritical patients.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide nighttime coverage in a 28-bed Neuro ICU
• Manage critical and high-acuity patients with neurologic conditions, including:
• Stroke
• Brain and head trauma
• Aneurysm
• Encephalitis
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
• Respond to emergencies and acute changes in patient status
• Ensure timely documentation and communication

Additional Information

• Must have active Nurse Practitioner license in Arkansas
• Critical care experience required
• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification required
