This position begins on Dec 14, 2025, providing nighttime coverage for a Neuro ICU with 12-hour shifts from 7p to 7a on select dates throughout the assignment. The opportunity involves managing high-acuity patients and delivering specialized neurocritical care in a dynamic hospital setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide nighttime coverage for a Neuro ICU
• Manage critically ill patients with conditions including stroke, brain/head trauma, aneurysm, and encephalitis
• Assess, monitor, and intervene in acute neurological emergencies
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Document clinical findings and care plans according to hospital protocols
• Ensure compliance with all relevant clinical and regulatory guidelines

Additional Information

• Must have critical care experience as a Physician Assistant
• Arkansas license required
• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certifications required
• Ability to work independently on high-acuity neurocritical care cases
