We are seeking a Neurocritical Care Physician Assistant for a 4-week locum tenens assignment in Arkansas. This opportunity begins Dec 28, 2025, and involves overnight coverage (7p-7a) in a Neuro ICU, providing management of high-acuity patients during the New Year period.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide nighttime coverage for a Neuro ICU
  • Manage critical and high-acuity neurological patients, including:
  • Stroke
  • Brain and head trauma
  • Aneurysm
  • Encephalitis
  • Respond to emergent neurological events during assigned shifts
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient care
  • Ensure accurate documentation and handoff to daytime staff


Additional Information

  • Must have critical care experience as a Physician Assistant
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification required
  • Must hold an active Arkansas license
  • Assignment covers New Years; recurring dates may be available
