We are seeking an experienced Neurological Surgery Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Virginia. This opportunity begins on Nov 24, 2025, and offers a 63-day contract working a 7 on / 7 off night shift rotation from 7pm to 7am. The role focuses on pre- and post-operative rounding with neurosurgery patients in a hospital setting, without any operating room responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Document patient assessments and progress notes accurately
  • Communicate effectively with nursing staff and other hospital personnel

Additional Information
  • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC) required
  • Must have strong experience working with neurosurgery patients
  • VA license required
  • Preference for candidates with Epic experience
  • Must be comfortable rotating between two hospital locations as needed
