Responsibilities and Duties
Perform pre-operative and post-operative rounding for neurosurgery patients
Manage care transitions and provide clinical updates on assigned patients
Collaborate with neurosurgeons and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
Document patient assessments and progress notes accurately
Communicate effectively with nursing staff and other hospital personnel
Additional Information
Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC) required
Must have strong experience working with neurosurgery patients
VA license required
Preference for candidates with Epic experience
Must be comfortable rotating between two hospital locations as needed
