Job Description

We are seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with strong neurosurgery experience for a locum tenens assignment in Virginia. This role starts Jan 5, 2026, and spans 42 days, working a 7 on/7 off night shift rotation. The position focuses on pre-op and post-op rounding for neurosurgical patients, with no operating room responsibilities.

  • Work exclusively night shifts as part of a 7 on/7 off rotation

Additional Information
  • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC) is required
  • Board certification in Neurological Surgery required
  • Must have strong experience with neurosurgery patients
  • Preference for candidates with Epic experience
  • Must hold a valid Virginia license
  • Flexibility to work at either hospital location week to week
