Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Neurosurgery Physician Assistant for a 90-day locum tenens assignment in Michigan. This opportunity begins on Nov 3, 2025, and offers a full-time schedule with day shifts, 4-5 days per week. The role is based at a trauma center and involves a broad range of neurosurgical procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist in a wide range of neurosurgical procedures, including both cranial and spinal surgeries
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including neurologists, neurointerventional radiologists, and other specialists
  • Interpret diagnostic imaging studies such as MRIs, CT scans, and angiograms for diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Provide consultations, assessments, and follow-up care for patients in both outpatient clinics and inpatient settings


Additional Information

  • Board certification required
  • Minimum two years of experience as a Neurosurgery Physician Assistant
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) certifications required
  • Must be licensed to practice in Michigan
