Responsibilities and Duties

  • Collaborate with on-call surgeons and provide first assist in the operating room
  • Respond to inpatient consults and requests
  • Round on neurosurgical service patients
  • Assist with neurosurgical operations and procedures
  • Conduct follow-up visits in the clinic
  • Care for patients with head and spine conditions


Additional Information

  • Neuro experience required
  • Active South Dakota license, DEA, and CSC required
  • Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) certification required
  • Board certifications: Neurological Surgery; Acute Care Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-AC)
  • First Assist experience required
