We are seeking a board-certified Neurosurgeon for an 8-day locum tenens assignment at a Trauma Center in Ohio, starting Jan 23, 2026. This emergency call-only role offers 24-hour coverage with a varied schedule, focusing on spinal and cranial cases in a low-volume setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide 24-hour emergency call coverage for a Trauma Center
  • Manage spinal and cranial cases; tumor removal experience is a bonus but not required
  • Respond to 0-6 emergency cases per week in a low-volume environment
  • Round and monitor 10-12 patients per day
  • Collaborate with support staff, including RNs and PAs, during weekday rounding hours
  • Submit 24 case logs from the past 24 months as required documentation
