We are seeking a skilled Neurology Nurse Practitioner for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Illinois. This opportunity begins on Nov 17, 2025, and offers day shifts from 8 am to 5 pm with a flexible schedule across select weekdays and Saturdays. The ideal candidate will have prior neuro experience, preferably with traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and concussions, and will provide specialized care for patients using evidence-based techniques.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Treat patients with concussions and traumatic brain injuries (TBI)
  • Administer greater occipital nerve (GON) injections and trigger point injections (training provided if needed)
  • Utilize magnesium and natural treatment routes as preferred options
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care

Additional Information
  • Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Illinois
  • Neurology board certification required
  • Candidate must have neuro experience (primary care or ICU backgrounds acceptable)
  • Experience with TBI and concussions preferred; training on specific procedures can be provided
