Job Description

 Barton Associates is seeking a board-certified Neurologist for a 26-day locum tenens assignment at a mental health facility in Georgia. Starting on 07/07/2025, this position focuses on treating patients with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), concussions, and injuries related to auto accidents and personal incidents. The flexible schedule allows for either 4 hours every week or 8 hours every other week, between Monday and Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. The neurologist will conduct 30-minute initial evaluations and follow-up appointments. This opportunity offers the potential for extension and requires an active Georgia medical license.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide neurological care for patients with TBI, concussions, and auto/personal injuries

• Conduct 30-minute initial evaluations and follow-up appointments

• Implement and manage concussion protocols

• Perform neurological examinations and assessments

• Develop and adjust treatment plans as needed

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Office Ally

• Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures

• Participate in patient care conferences and treatment planning

• Stay updated on the latest neurological treatment approaches and research


Additional Information:

• Must be board-certified in Neurology

• Active Georgia medical license required

• Experience in TBI and concussion management preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and facility requirements
