Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Neurohospitalist for a locum tenens assignment in Tennessee starting Jan 5, 2026. This 154-day opportunity offers a 7a-7p onsite schedule with remote call coverage from 7p-7a, following a Monday through Sunday two-weeks-on, one-week-off rotation. The assignment is ideal for candidates with inpatient neuro and vascular experience, and board certification in Neurology is required.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide inpatient neurohospitalist care at a thrombectomy-capable stroke center
  • Manage acute neurological cases, including stroke and other vascular conditions
  • Collaborate with facility staff and residents (no supervision required for residents)
  • Participate in a rotation schedule with days onsite and nights on remote call
  • Apply expertise in vascular neurology (vascular experience preferred)
  • Ensure continuity of care and adherence to best practices in neurological inpatient management

Additional Information
  • Must hold an active Tennessee medical license
  • Board certification in Neurology required
  • Inpatient neuro experience is essential; vascular neurology experience preferred
