We are seeking a board-certified Neurologist with an active Texas license for a 2-day locum tenens assignment starting Apr 10, 2026. This opportunity involves 24-hour neurology consult services with unrestricted evening and overnight call coverage, supporting a Comprehensive Stroke Center.

Job Details

• Provider Type Needed: Neurologist
• Schedule: 24 hours neurology consult services with unrestricted evening and overnight call coverage for general neurology (non-stroke/tpa services) and Telestroke call split for the month

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform EEG and continuous EEG procedures
• Conduct neurology consults (4-5 per day)
• Manage Telestroke cases (4 per day)
• Provide unrestricted 24-hour call coverage for general neurology and Telestroke
• Collaborate with the Comprehensive Stroke Center team to ensure high-quality patient care

Additional Information

• Board certification in Neurology required
• Active Texas medical license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Experience in a Comprehensive Stroke Center (DNV) setting preferred
