 We are seeking a skilled Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) specializing in OB/GYN for a locum tenens position in New York through Barton Associates. This 173-day assignment begins on 06/23/2025, and requires expertise in both clinic and delivery services. The ideal candidate will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, in a clinic setting, with 4-8 on-call shifts per month for deliveries at a Hospital. The CNM will be responsible for providing comprehensive OB/GYN care, including annual exams, postpartum care, OB checks, new OB and GYN checks, and managing deliveries during on-call shifts. Proficiency with Allscripts software is required. This opportunity offers the potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care in a clinic setting

• Perform annual exams, postpartum care, OB checks, and new OB and GYN checks

• Manage labor and delivery during on-call shifts

• Utilize Allscripts software for patient records and treatment planning

• Collaborate with the OB/GYN team to ensure optimal patient care

• Educate patients on reproductive health, pregnancy, and postpartum care

• Maintain clear communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members

• Adhere to all relevant health and safety protocols

• Participate in multidisciplinary care conferences as required

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in midwifery and OB/GYN care
