Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 120-day assignment in Alabama, starting May 11, 2026. This role involves day shifts from 8A-430P, with beeper call, focusing on a mix of in-office procedures like colposcopy and LEEP, managing an average of 1-2 deliveries per day, and performing scheduled and emergent C-sections and GYN surgeries. The physician will handle outpatient visits, scheduled procedures, and all inpatient OB/GYN call responsibilities.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform in-office procedures including colposcopy, LEEP, hysteroscopy, and IUD/Nexplanon insertion.
  • Provide beeper call with a 30-minute response time.
  • Manage an average of 1-2 deliveries per day.
  • Perform scheduled and emergent C-sections and GYN surgeries.
  • Utilize dedicated OR block time.
  • Handle outpatient visits and scheduled procedures.
  • Manage all inpatient OB/GYN call responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with NP support for GYN and low-acuity OB cases.


Additional Information
