Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in AR

 A hospital in Arkansas is seeking a skilled OB/GYN physician for a recurring locum tenens assignment. Starting on 06/22/2025, this role requires coverage for one week per month in June, July, and August, with potential for extension. The schedule includes working Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. Additionally, the position involves 24-hour call coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with OB call and OBGYN clinic work, including managing deliveries during clinic hours if necessary. Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care in both clinic and hospital settings

• Conduct patient consultations and follow-up appointments

• Perform gynecological examinations and procedures

• Manage prenatal care and deliveries

• Handle obstetric emergencies and complications

• Diagnose and treat various gynecological conditions

• Utilize Epic electronic health record system

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures

• Provide patient education on women's health and preventive care

• Manage 24-hour call responsibilities

• Flexibility to reschedule clinic patients if called for deliveries

Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice medicine in Arkansas

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required

• Experience in both clinical and hospital OB/GYN care
