Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in AZ

 A hospital in Arizona is seeking a skilled OB/GYN physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment. Starting on 08/04/2025, this role requires working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with additional on-call coverage as needed. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with general OB/GYN care, primarily seeing walk-in patients and scheduling follow-up appointments. Patient slots are 45 minutes long. This position offers an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive women's health care in a hospital setting. The facility uses the RPMS electronic health record system, and there is potential for assignment extension.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care to walk-in patients

• Conduct initial patient consultations and schedule follow-up appointments

• Perform gynecological examinations and procedures

• Manage prenatal care and deliveries

• Handle obstetric emergencies and complications

• Diagnose and treat various gynecological conditions

• Utilize RPMS electronic health record system

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures

Additional Information:

• Any state medical license will be accepted

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
