Job Description

Our client in California is seeking an OB/GYN for a 120-day locum tenens assignment starting Jan. 5, 2026. This role involves managing high and low-risk deliveries, c-sections, ultrasounds, and some gynecological surgeries. Shifts follow a 24-hour schedule from 9:30 AM to 9:30 AM, including remote review of fetal tracings.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Handle high and low-risk deliveries and c-sections

  • Manage IUD placements, cystoscopies, colposcopies, and cryosurgeries
  • Conduct follow-up visits with patients

Additional Information

  • Must be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Required to manage complex cases in a rural setting
  • Valid California medical license required
  • Certifications needed: ACLS, BLS, PALS
  • EMR system in use: e-MD
