Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 4-day locum tenens assignment in California starting Nov 26, 2025. This role features 24-hour call coverage, with shifts from 7am-7am, and includes both in-house and out-of-house coverage for sporadic vacation relief.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Respond promptly to call backs for deliveries and urgent cases
  • Conduct patient consults and rounding
  • Provide out-of-house call coverage within the required response window
  • Manage a high-volume obstetrics setting
  • Collaborate with on-site OB team to ensure patient safety and continuity of care


Additional Information

  • California medical license required
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Experience in a rural setting is preferred
