We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 6-day locum tenens assignment in California beginning Dec 17, 2025, with 24-hour call shifts. This opportunity is ideal for a physician skilled in high-risk and rural medicine, comfortable with comprehensive OB/GYN procedures, and available to cover the exact dates specified by our client.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections (with or without vacuum assistance)
  • Manage high-risk deliveries
  • Conduct dilation and curettage (D&C) procedures
  • Provide contraceptive services including Nexplanon and IUD placement
  • Perform routine gynecological exams such as Pap smears and colposcopies
  • Conduct circumcisions and vasectomies
  • Perform LEEP procedures and manage cervical cultures
  • Deliver comprehensive care in a rural medicine and FQHC setting

Additional Information
  • Must hold active California medical license
  • Required board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), DEA, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
  • Experience in rural medicine, high-risk deliveries, and FQHC environments preferred
