We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 6-day locum tenens assignment in California beginning Dec 17, 2025, with 24-hour call shifts. Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections (with or without vacuum assistance)
- Manage high-risk deliveries
- Conduct dilation and curettage (D&C) procedures
- Provide contraceptive services including Nexplanon and IUD placement
- Perform routine gynecological exams such as Pap smears and colposcopies
- Conduct circumcisions and vasectomies
- Perform LEEP procedures and manage cervical cultures
- Deliver comprehensive care in a rural medicine and FQHC setting
Additional Information
- Must hold active California medical license
- Required board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), DEA, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
- Experience in rural medicine, high-risk deliveries, and FQHC environments preferred
