Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 16-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Jan 1, 2026. This opportunity features 24-hour call coverage with a primary focus on GYN cases and women’s health emergencies, including rare emergency C-sections. The assignment is ideal for a physician with strong gynecologic skills and C-section experience, as deliveries are handled elsewhere and the role is predominantly GYN-focused.Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide care for women’s health emergencies and GYN cases
- Perform emergency C-sections as needed
- Respond to urgent gynecologic situations
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Additional Information
- Active California medical license required
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
- GYN and C-section experience strongly preferred
- Assignment is 90 percent GYN with very rare OB cases due to all births occurring offsite
