Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for an 80-day locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity begins on Dec 1, 2025, with day shifts Monday through Friday, focusing on both inpatient and clinic settings. Candidates must have current competency in both OB and GYN and recent inpatient and clinic experience.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in both inpatient and outpatient clinic settings
  • Manage and oversee prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care
  • Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions
  • Perform routine and complex OB/GYN procedures as appropriate
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR

Additional Information
  • Active California medical license required
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required
  • Must have recent inpatient privileges/experience within the past 24 months (flexible)
  • Clinic experience required
  • Proficiency with Cerner EMR is preferred
