Job Description

We are seeking an Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 7-day locum tenens assignment in California, beginning Feb 11, 2026. This position features daytime clinic shifts from 8AM to 5PM and includes 24-hour call coverage. The ideal candidate will have experience in rural medicine, high-risk deliveries, and FQHC settings, and is comfortable managing a broad range of OB/GYN procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manage vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including high-risk cases
  • Perform D&C procedures
  • Provide contraceptive services including Nexplanon and IUD placements
  • Conduct routine gynecological care such as papsmears and colposcopies
  • Perform circumcisions and vasectomies
  • Carry out LEEP procedures and related clinical tasks

Additional Information
  • Must hold an active California medical license
  • Required board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Certifications needed: ACLS, BLS, DEA, NRP, PALS
  • Prior experience in rural medicine and FQHCs preferred
