We are seeking a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 9-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Jan 29, 2026. This role offers 24-hour call coverage with a rotating schedule and support from another OB on call. The position involves working with a high-volume delivery service and serving a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care during 24-hour call shifts
  • Manage deliveries in a high-volume setting (approximately 2200 deliveries per year)
  • Perform and manage cesarean sections (32 percent C-section rate)
  • Participate in both in-house and out-of-house call coverage
  • Collaborate with another OB on call during working dates
  • Deliver care to a high Hispanic population
  • Respond to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies as needed

Additional Information
  • Active California medical license required
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
  • Experience in a rural setting is preferred
