Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in CA

Job Description

Our client is seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 30-day assignment in California, starting Jun 17, 2026. This role involves managing a range of duties including vaginal and C-section deliveries, d&c procedures, high-risk deliveries, Nexplanon insertions, and IUD placements, with clinic hours from 8 AM to 4 PM and 24-hour call.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform vaginal deliveries
• Conduct C-section deliveries (with or without vacuum assistance)
• Execute D&C procedures
• Manage high-risk deliveries
• Insert Nexplanon
• Place IUDs
• Perform Papsmears
• Conduct circumcisions
• Perform vasectomies
• Execute colposcopies
• Conduct cultures
• Perform LEEP procedures

• Required Board Certification: Obstetrics and Gynecology
• EMR System: Cerner
• Schedule: Clinic 8 AM - 4 PM, 24-hour call 5 PM - 7 AM
