Job Description

Our client in California is actively seeking a skilled OB/GYN Physician for a 60-day assignment starting Jun 1, 2026. This role involves a Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM schedule, focusing on essential office-based procedures such as biopsies, IUD placement, and Nexplanon insertions, alongside comprehensive routine OB visits and women's wellness exams.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform office-based procedures including biopsies, IUD placement, and Nexplanon insertions.
  • Confirm pregnancies over 7 weeks with bedside ultrasound.
  • Conduct initial and routine OB visits.
  • Provide postpartum care and incision checks.
  • Perform Women Wellness Exams (WWE) for all ages.
  • Execute IUD/Nexplanon insertion and removal procedures.
  • Perform Incision and Drainage (I&D) for cysts.
  • Manage problem visits for conditions like UTI, STI, menopause, HRT, and breast pain.
  • Conduct procedures such as Leep, colposcopy, cryotherapy, and address cervical polyps.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
  • Experience with Epic EMR system.
