Job Description
Our client in California is seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 6-day assignment, beginning Apr 3, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive 24-hour out-of-house OB/GYN hospitalist call, with shifts running from 7 am to 7 am. You will be responsible for managing deliveries and performing GYN surgeries within a hospital setting.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide 24-hour out-of-house OB/GYN hospitalist call coverage.
- Manage call shifts, typically from 7 am to 7 am, as part of ongoing coverage.
- Perform deliveries and gynecological surgeries.
- Work in a facility equipped with a Level II nursery.
- Coordinate transfers for patients below 32 weeks gestation.
- Contribute to patient care in a setting with an average annual delivery volume of approximately 460.
