We are seeking a qualified Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a full-time locum tenens assignment in Florida, beginning on Sep 8, 2025. The role involves a clinic-based schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with minimal labor/delivery coverage, a half day of surgery per week, and occasional 24-hour shifts in labor and delivery. Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care in a clinic setting
- Perform surgeries and procedures as scheduled
- Manage care during labor and delivery, including on-call responsibilities
- Ensure continuity of care throughout the obstetric period
- Maintain patient records and documentation using the Athenahealth EMR system
- Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
Additional Information
- Required Board Certifications: Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Must be willing to obtain hospital privileges
- Experience in Nexplanon procedures preferred
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
