Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 3-day locum tenens assignment in Georgia, starting Apr 3, 2026. This opportunity consists of 24-hour out-of-house call shifts with a 30-minute response time. Candidates must meet strict procedural and certification requirements and demonstrate recent, substantial OB/GYN experience.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive OB/GYN coverage during assigned call shifts
  • Respond to emergencies and patient needs within a 30-minute timeframe
  • Manage deliveries, including at least 40 deliveries and 5 c-sections within the past 2 years
  • Perform GYN procedures, with a minimum of 100 completed in the last 2 years
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech EHR

Additional Information
  • Georgia medical license required
  • Must have current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Required board certification: Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Candidates must demonstrate required procedural experience as outlined
