We are seeking a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a locum tenens hospitalist assignment in Indiana, starting Dec 1, 2025, for a 24-week contract. Responsibilities and Duties
Provide in-house OB Hospitalist coverage for labor and delivery
Manage urgent gynecologic surgeries as needed
Work collaboratively with 1-2 certified nurse midwives per shift
Deliver patients at 32+ weeks gestation; high-risk deliveries are transferred to tertiary care
Oversee approximately 300 deliveries per year
Collaborate with 24/7 available anesthesia team
Ensure timely, high-quality care during assigned shifts
Additional Information
Must have active Indiana medical license
Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
Locum can work up to 48 hours per shift
