Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in KY

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 13-day locum tenens assignment in Kentucky, starting Oct 11, 2025. This out-of-house call opportunity involves 24-hour call coverage with scheduled stretches in October and December, providing comprehensive OB/GYN services and responding promptly to deliveries and surgical cases.

• Schedule: 24-hour call coverage; Oct 11, 7am – Oct 17, 7am and Dec 22, 7am – Dec 29, 7am; additional 2026 dates anticipated

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide out-of-house call coverage, staying within designated range and prepared for rapid response to callbacks
• Manage and perform deliveries and cesarean sections
• Conduct patient consults and rounding as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Meditech EHR
• Ensure adherence to all clinical protocols and safety standards

Additional Information

• Must have a valid Kentucky medical license
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
• Must meet delivery and C-section credentialing requirements: 30 regular deliveries and 10 C-sections in the past 2 years, plus 60 regular deliveries and 70 C-sections in career
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
• Proven experience and comfort with both deliveries and C-sections are essential
