Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Kentucky. This assignment begins on Oct 14, 2025, and spans a 2-day stretch of 24-hour out-of-house call coverage. The ideal candidate will have expertise in deliveries and C-sections and be prepared to respond quickly to call backs for patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Remain on call for the full duration of the assignment
  • Provide coverage from an out-of-house setting (such as a hotel) and respond promptly to call backs for deliveries and emergencies
  • Conduct patient consults and rounding as needed
  • Manage both regular deliveries and C-sections

Additional Information
  • Must meet recent delivery and C-section credentialing requirements (30 regular deliveries and 10 C-sections in the past 2 years, and 60 regular deliveries and 70 C-sections in career)
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
  • Proficiency with Meditech EHR
